Hours: 37.5 hour over 5 days, including weekends, evenings and bank holidays

Salary: from £18,500 to £19,500

Description: West Midland Safari Park has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our diverse management team, in the role of Venues Deputy Manager.

With three unique venues, including a stunning Georgian Manor, a whole host of occasions will be part of the entertainment. Whether it's a wedding, a corporate dinner or a night dedicated to Elvis, you will be part of a diverse range of events making a night to remember for our guests.

Your role will include assisting the Venues Manager to ensure that events are delivered to the highest standard whilst also taking into consideration budgeted costs. You will also be able to take the lead in the absence of the Venues Manager ensuring the smooth running of the department. You will deal with incoming sales calls and face to face meetings, manage the set up and breakdown of events, ensure staffing levels are managed whilst adhering to Company health and safety procedures.

About you

You will have previous experience of leading events, whilst being commercially focused. The role is extremely fast paced, you will be able to keep calm under pressure and ensure that service is delivered to the highest standard.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including working into the early hours, weekends and bank holidays.
