WMSP Facilities Deputy Manager...

Hours: The role is based on 37.5 hours over a 5 day week and will involve weekends, bank holidays and evenings.

Salary: £22,000

Description: West Midland Safari Park are recruiting for a Facilities Deputy Manager to join our Facilities team.

This exciting role covers a wide range of tasks to support the management of a diverse team to ensure all onsite Facilities and infrastructure are maintained to required standards on a daily basis to deliver a high-quality customer services environment.

The position will require the generation and review of regular schedules of work to ensure the Park is presentable and maintained including waste management, cleanliness, and onsite guest parking.

The successful candidate will support management to monitor and enhance the operational elements within the department and support team members to perform effectively within their role. The role holder will efficiently control and manage variable wage costs, monitoring and reviewing assigned workload schedules of the Facilities team.

About you

You will have previous experience in a similar position in a fast-paced responsive environment and be able to demonstrate your ability to delegate and support team members to successfully achieve set objectives. You will be organised, working efficiently with changing priorities and deadlines to meet department needs.

Due to the role supporting Facilities across the entire business, the successful candidate will need to hold a full, valid driving licence.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to working outside of standard business hours, including working weekends, bank holidays and some evenings.
