Description: West Midland Safari Park has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our diverse management team, in the role of Venues Deputy Manager on fixed-term 12 month contract.

With three unique venues, including a stunning Georgian Manor, a whole host of occasions will be part of the entertainment. Whether it's a wedding, a corporate dinner or a night dedicated to Elvis, you will create outstanding memories for our guests leading all team members to reach the highest standards of customer service.

Your role will be responsible for the co-ordination of events, leading the successful delivery of venue hire and public events, working closely with the Venues Management team to ensure that all venues hire and public event requirements are delivered to the highest standard.

You will work in collaboration with the Venues Management team to review events delivery, managing the client process, and ensuring event requirements are fulfilled, delivering event schedules to the Venues Team ahead of setups and breakdowns in a timely manner whilst maintaining the the departments consumables stock management.

You will develop and maintain effective working relationships both internal and external, leading with the recruitment and on-boarding of Venues team members, monitoring both individual and team performance.

About you

Experience in a similar position within a hospitality environment leading events is essential, the role is extremely fast paced and you will be able to keep calm under pressure and ensure that service is delivered to the highest standard.

You may already hold a personal licence and first aid qualification or be willing to undertake this training, which will be provided by the Company.

As with all accommodation/hospitality roles, you will appreciate the requirement to be flexible in your approach to working outside of standard business hours.
