Hours: Contract: 37.5 Hours per week – Permanent Work pattern: Monday - Friday

Salary: from £30,000 to £35,000

Description: We are seeking to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to deliver an accurate monthly payroll and complete all administration aspects of the payroll operation across our 3 UK attractions (Drayton Manor Resort, West Midland Safari Park and Pleasurewood Hills), for both permanent, seasonal, and zero-hour workers.

Key duties will include;
• Accurately prepare and input payroll data into the payroll systems to include starters, leavers, and amendments.
• Dealing with pay queries, typically the more complex queries as escalated by the payroll/HR team- investigating and interrogating data to find resolution.
• Administer and calculate SSP, SMP, Pensions and other adjustments.
• Complete all statutory and regulatory monthly and annual returns required by HMRC.
• Producing detailed monthly management reports.

About you
The ideal candidate will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the latest developments within Payroll legislation, PAYE, and Pensions. Have experience of liaising with HMRC – National Minimum Wage compliance and investigations. Pension administration – Auto-Enrolment compliance and experience of Pensions Regulator duties. Experience of expenses claims procedures, payments, and regulations. P11D completion experience. System implementation experience.

Qualifications required - Payroll Qualification – i.e., CIPP Foundation Degree in Payroll Management.
