Hours: 37.5 hours, 5 days out of 7 including weekends, bank holidays and some evenings.

Salary: £22,000

Description: West Midland Safari Park has an exciting opportunity for the role of Admissions Deputy Manager. This varied and exciting role will require an enthusiastic and dynamic applicant, capable of assisting in the management of a diverse team to deliver a high-quality customer services environment.

Your role will include assisting with the daily operations of the Admissions Department, working in collaboration with the Retail department, ensuring day to day staffing allocation through effective management of staff, supporting the Admissions team, ensuring all enquires both internal and external are handled in a positive, professional, and timely manner.

You will support recruitment, induction, and training managing individual’s performance, providing leadership, coaching, advice and feedback to enhance staff performance. The role holder will manage the Minibus Tour Guides, ensuring schedules of work are achieved to set deadline to support the achievement of a high-quality guest experience.

About you

Ideally, we are looking for applicants that are highly organised with previous experience in a similar position in the leisure and tourism industry, supervising a team to successfully focus on customer service standards, while identifying and achieving changing priorities within the working environment.

The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills, remaining calm and focused whilst delivering to set deadlines, with the ability to make proactive and reactive decisions in fast paced environment.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including working weekends, bank holidays and evenings.
