Hours: 37.5 hours over 5 days, including occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays dependant on the needs of the business.

Salary: from £28,000 to £33,000

Description: West Midland Safari Park are currently recruiting for the position of Electrician.

The primary objective of the role is to ensure all electrical works are performed safely and to required Health & Safety requirements. The exciting role will include assembly, installation and maintenance across the Park, diagnosing malfunctioning systems, inspection and testing, ordering supplies and equipment in line with advised budgets whilst working and co-coordinating alongside external contractors.

About you:

The role requires someone who is confident, motivated and can work to your own initiative with a proactive approach to health and safety with the aim of creating a safe environment for all.

You will have gained relevant Electrical qualifications, Electrical Installation & Theory, Requirements for Electrical Installations and Test and inspection.

Due to the position being required to drive Company vehicles and accessing animal restricted areas, the successful candidate will need to hold a full, valid driving licence.

You will need to be flexible in your approach to work outside of standard business hours, including occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
